IHG puts $1.1 billion in properties on market

InterContinental Hotels Group has put $1.1 billion worth of hotels on the market as it continues plans to sell all properties that aren't considered strategic. The company owns the InterContinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn brands, and says it will hold onto about $1.8 billion in hotel assets, including the InterContinental hotels in London, New York, Paris and Hong Kong.
