Monsanto's sales of biotech cotton increased by 131% in India

Monsanto has seen a 131% increase in sales of biotech cotton during the first eight months of the year compared with the same period last year. Despite environmentalist opposition to the crops, a company spokeswoman said, the large sales increase vindicates Indian farmers who decided to grow the Monsanto seeds.
