Creativity in grocery promotions continues

Supermarkets' creative promotions are an attempt to show shoppers how they can meet customer needs, said an FMI spokeswoman. Albertsons has added an Always Save private label, King Soopers has cut prices on 1,600 items and gives gas discounts, and SuperTarget puts its pricing strategy behind its slogan, "Expect more, pay less."
