New privacy mode in Microsoft, Google browsers spark ad concerns

Some ad networks are concerned that new browsers by Google and Microsoft, which give users more control over privacy, could lead to a scenario in which the role of ad networks as intermediaries is eliminated from the advertising equation. But one agency executive believes few users will act to increase their privacy, therefore leaving intact marketers' access to their data.
