Study: Monitoring devices help adult diabetics manage disease

Continuous glucose-monitoring devices allow adults with Type 1 diabetes to better control their blood-sugar levels compared with those who use the traditional method that involves pricking their fingers, a new U.S. study found. The researchers found no significant benefits for children because they generally tended to use such devices less consistently.
