Baucus supports fee on health plans to cover uninsured

Senate Finance Committee Chairman Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., has circulated a new health reform plan that proposes to charge insurance companies a fee to help cover the uninsured, The New York Times reports. The plan is an attempt to gain bipartisan support for health care reform and doesn't include a public health insurance option.
