France's CGGVeritas secures $464M contract from Pemex

CGGVeritas, a French geophysical survey firm, has been granted a contract worth $464 million by Mexico's Pemex to provide seismic data in the Gulf of Mexico. Under the deal, CGGVeritas would supply more than 46,000 square miles of 3-D images within five years. "This work will improve the precision in finding oil wealth in the deep Gulf of Mexico," Pemex said.
