Petrobras promotes productivity of Guara oil field

Brazil's offshore subsalt Guara oil field contains at least 1 billion barrels of light oil and natural gas, state-run Petrobras announced. The prospect has "very high productivity" that could generate up to 50,000 barrels of oil a day, the firm said in a securities filing. The find follows the 2007 discovery of the resource-rich Tupi field.
