Study: Daycare does not protect against allergies, asthma

A study found early daycare and exposure to sick children doesn't help children to ward off asthma, allergies and respiratory illnesses. The researchers said any benefit disappears by age 8 and putting a child in daycare early only hastens the arrival of a respiratory symptoms.
