Texas teachers are serving as mentors for African educators

Some Texas teachers are providing training for educators in Rwanda and Uganda as part of the America to Africa -- Teacher to Teacher program. African teachers are paired with a mentor, and they communicate online, sharing knowledge and experience. "We don't have to give money," said teacher Tammy Whitaker, who launched the project. "We can share what we've learned."
