Without a museum, Las Vegas arts education gets creative

Las Vegas lacks an art museum, and officials in Nevada's Clark County School District are searching for a way to provide a connection to artwork. "Not having an art museum really limits our ability to get to the aesthetics," said a district arts administrator. To supplement arts education, the district is focusing on having students attend community art programs, visit casino galleries and participate in online art contests.
