Colorado city eyes change to pit-bull ban to permit service dogs

Officials in Aurora, Colo., are considering a change to the city's breed-specific ban to permit pit bulls working as service dogs to live within the city limits. The proposed amendment comes after the Department of Justice stated in an opinion that breed-specific bans should not apply to dogs trained to assist disabled people.
