Multivitamins have no effect on colon cancer, study finds

A study in the Journal of Clinical Oncology found vitamins did not reduce the risk colon cancer would return nor extend survival for stage III patients. Multivitamins had little to no effect on colon cancer, either positive or negative, researchers said, though studies have shown nearly 30% of American cancer patients take multivitamins to help combat the disease.
