Obama's infrastructure plan may have to wait until after elections

President Barack Obama's plan to spend an initial $50 billion on the nation's infrastructure will probably have to wait until next year, as Senate Republicans are unlikely to let the president get a victory before the November elections. The president's proposed "infrastructure bank" may be a way to provide loans and grants for transportation projects without raising the federal gas tax.
