Raleigh postpones decision on high-speed rail route

Raleigh, N.C., hasn't settled on a path for the proposed high-speed train service that is planned for the city. The City Council has requested that the state Transportation Department suggest more than the two routes currently on the table. High-speed rail will be crucial for the Triangle region, given that Raleigh is among the nation's 10 fastest-growing cities, according to Karen Rindge, executive director of WakeUP Wake County.
