SBA embraces programs for women-owned businesses

A Small Business Administration program for women-owned small businesses could be set up by the end of the year, according to Joseph Jordon, associate administrator of government contracting and business development at the SBA. Officials might also approve a proposal to create a tool that would help procurement officials to designate contracts for women-owned businesses.
