Novacem, a British materials company, is racking up awards for what could be considered the green construction industry's holy grail: a method for mixing carbon-negative concrete. The method combines biofuel-powered production processes with innovative chemistry. "Novacem has achieved what could be one of the single-largest reductions in CO2 emissions in construction to date," says Andrew H. Dent of Material ConneXion.
