Intel vows commitment to MeeGo operating system

Intel intends to continue development of the MeeGo mobile operating system even though its partnership with Nokia ended when the cellphone maker aligned with Microsoft. Still, the chip giant strongly hinted that it would prefer to pursue the project with a partner. "We're very open to other companies participating and helping us shape the next version of an open platform," Intel executive Doug Fisher said.
