SEC braces for reports from internal watchdog

The inspector general of the Securities and Exchange Commission is expected to issue several reports that could be used by lawmakers interested in reining in the agency. The watchdog's reports "involve significant aspects of the SEC's operations, whether it's ethical controls or how the agency deals with important records," said David Kotz, the inspector general of the SEC.
