Employee wellness programs should be a priority because health costs often are the second-biggest corporate expense behind wages, Dr. Robert Jimenez, a University of Texas Health Science psychiatry professor, told the Healthy Business Summit and Exposition in San Antonio. The annual event this year offered information on motivating employees, a manual for implementing a wellness plan and a trade show featuring health-related companies.
