BofA settles discrimination case for $39M

Bank of America will pay $39 million to settle a bias lawsuit brought by women who worked in the bank's brokerage division and female brokers at Merrill Lynch, which was purchased by the bank. Friday's settlement marked the second such agreement in 10 days. In the other case, the bank agreed to settle claims of racial bias for $160 million.
