Calif. school's fair helps students find volunteer opportunities with agencies

Students at Temecula Valley High School in California recently had the chance to meet officials from nonprofit groups to learn more about the volunteer opportunities. The school's Community Service Connection Fair attracted 38 organizations, up from the 25 that came last year for the first-time event, said the school's career counselor, La Verne Williams-Schoonover. Students are required to complete 40 hours of community service to graduate.
