McDonald's tries out the Blitz Box in Kansas City

McDonald's Kansas City Co-op sponsors the Kansas City Chiefs, and it will use the start of football season to try out the multi-meal Blitz Box that has proven popular in Australia. The box includes two Quarter Pounders with Cheese, two medium fries and 20 Chicken McNuggets for $14.99. "It used to be you'd see teens eating meals separately. Now you’ll see them getting two or three fries and burgers for four or five and putting it all in the center to share," said CEO Don Thompson, describing the new trend of "bundling" fast-food meals.
