Sam's Club donates $1.25M to expand YMCA health programs

The Sam's Club Giving Program has donated $1.25 million to fund an expansion of the YMCA's Healthier Community Initiatives program and Diabetes Prevention Program. The programs aim to aid underserved communities and teach healthy-eating and exercise habits to those at risk for diabetes. Sam's Club also plans to offer diabetes screening at its pharmacies Saturday.
