Virgin America aims to dominate U.S. market -- or at least stay profitable

David Cush, the chief executive of Virgin America, is hoping to bring the airline public next year or in 2015. While the airline has plenty of bells and whistles that make it a pioneer in the industry, it is looking attain long-term profitability. The airline is hoping to build up a profitable base of business fliers, and has added a loyalty program to compete with other American carriers that appeal to frequent fliers.
