Report: Green buildings more efficient, but perhaps not as much as thought

A review of the operating performance of six green buildings found energy performance in each of the buildings was "significantly better" than minimum code requirements, and each "broke new ground" in sustainable design. The buildings did, however, use more energy than originally calculated in design and reviewers say the design teams may have been overly optimistic in their plans.
