Canadians flock to local pizza chains

Three major U.S. pizza chains, Pizza Hut, Domino's and Papa John's, are all present in Canada, but Canadians frequent their local chains more often. Toronto-based Pizza Pizza has consistently bettered the performance of the U.S. chains, and British Columbia-based Panago Pizza reported more than $120 million in sales last year at its 155 stores. At least one Canadian chain, Boston Pizza, has made a move into the U.S. market.
