Alaskan regulators ponder fair price for natural gas

Alaskan regulators are deciding a case that may set a precedent for years on the price of natural gas. In deciding whether to approve new contracts between Enstar Natural Gas and Marathon Oil and ConocoPhillips Alaska, regulators will be setting the fair market price for natural gas in a tiered arrangement that allows the price to rise in the winter when the demand is higher.
