Drought-resistant crops critical to Monsanto's growth, CEO says

Monsanto's ability to develop drought-resistant biotech crops will play a key role in the company's growth, CEO Hugh Grant said. The company also plans to develop technology that can increase yields of corn, soybeans and other row crops, as well as decrease their water and fertilizer requirements.
