Employers might shift more health insurance costs to workers

A new survey shows employers plan to shift more of the costs of health insurance to workers next year when benefit costs are expected to increase 5.7% overall. A Mercer survey found 59% of employers in the U.S. plan to raise deductibles, co-payments and other employee-paid portions of their health care coverage.
