Ike barrels toward oil, gas facilities in Gulf of Mexico

Hurricane Ike could wreak havoc on oil and gas facilities off the shore of Texas or Louisiana and prompt refineries to shut down again, possibly reducing the amount of fuel available in the U.S. Offshore workers, who just returned after evacuating for Hurricane Gustav, are once again leaving their posts as the Gulf Coast prepares for the storm.
