ParaScale will test software for "cloud" storage

A startup launched its second beta trial Monday for software that the company says gives businesses the tools to store data on internal "cloud" networks and allows vendors to compete with Amazon's S3 cloud-storage service. ParaScale, of Cupertino, Calif., said it hoped to attract businesses that preferred to store information on private Intranet clouds rather than online as a typical cloud works.
