Record contradicts Palin's claim she stopped "Bridge to Nowhere"

Although vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin has campaigned on the fact she stopped the "Bridge to Nowhere," the record shows she originally supported the bridge to Ketchikan, Alaska, during her run for governor in 2006. The project to build the bridge eventually fizzled, but Palin kept the federal money Alaska had received for the bridge and reallocated it to other construction projects.
