Small town offers big welcome for those changing gender

Over the past 40 years, the small town of Trinidad, Colo., has gained a reputation as the "sex-change capital of the United States," where hundreds of transgender people find a welcoming and safe environment for gender re-assignment surgery. "I think there's some legacy of this rugged Western individualism here where people just have a lot of respect for your choice in how to lead your life," said trans woman Michelle Miles.
