ELFA's Bentsen sees some easing of credit crunch

Reduced credit for businesses is threatening the economic recovery, but National Association of Credit Management economist Chris Kuehl is cautiously optimistic that the credit crunch will not lead to a stall. "Credit approvals have risen, and credit quality has improved. Charge-offs may have peaked in June. We seem to be moving in the right direction," said ELFA President Kenneth Bentsen.
