Green-energy stimulus spending on horizon

The resignation of Obama environmental adviser Van Jones over the weekend may have preceded a burst of spending for clean energy. While only 1% of stimulus funds will be spent on clean energy in fiscal 2009, many of the programs should ramp up by the end of the year. "The next three months will be the most exciting time for the clean-technology industry in the last decade," said Matt Rogers, the senior adviser for Recovery Act implementation at the Energy Department.
