Sen. Dodd likely to remain chairman of banking committee

Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., is expected to continue as chairman of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, allowing him to continue in his key role in the regulatory revamp. Many had expected Dodd to succeed Sen. Edward Kennedy as chairman of the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. Dodd's announcement on his decision is expected today.
