Boeing escapes CIA rendition lawsuit

In a sharply divided 6-5 decision, a federal appeals court ruled against allowing a lawsuit against a Boeing unit that may have assisted the CIA in carrying out renditions. The court ruled that Boeing's Jeppesen Dataplan unit couldn't reasonably be asked to defend itself without revealing information about covert government operations.
