A guide on introducing student blogs to lessons

A middle-school teacher provides a guide for teachers to introduce blogging into classroom lessons. Heather Wolpert-Gawron advises teachers to first determine which students have home Internet access so that arrangements can be made for those who do not. Next, she writes, students should be taught about about blogs and Internet etiquette. Students then develop their discussions in the form of blog posts -- first offline so that teachers can review them -- and learn to link to other materials.
