Norfolk Southern lauds $191M Heartland Corridor project

Norfolk Southern is on track to start hauling freight along the totally revamped Heartland Corridor line that stretches East and South from central Ohio. Norfolk officials said shipments will begin today. They termed the $191 million project that enlarged tunnels and raised bridges the "single biggest railroad engineering project in modern history."
