Research aims to shed light on the decline of U.S. veterinary visits

The Animal Health Division of Bayer Healthcare has set out to investigate the causes for fewer veterinary visits in the U.S. in a bid to promote public awareness about the need to take pets to a veterinarian. An AVMA study indicated that veterinary visits for pets between 2001 and 2006 decreased by almost 1 million.
