WTC memorial dedication on track for 10th anniversary

Planners and contractors are marking the ninth anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks by promising the under-construction One World Trade Center office building and the nearby memorial park will be ready for public use by Sept. 11, 2011. Formerly known as Freedom Tower, the centerpiece office building is nearing 40 stories tall on its way to 106 stories. The WTC project will eventually include a memorial and museum, four skyscrapers, a transportation hub and a performing arts center.
