5 reasons to use YouTube in the classroom

Jon Corippo, a Google Certified Teacher and Apple Distinguished Educator, offers five tips in this blog post for incorporating YouTube into classroom instruction. YouTube videos can be used for inspiration and to increase connections between educators and their students, as well as potential audiences of millions, he writes. Corippo, who was among 16 educators attending the YouTube Teachers Studio last month, adds that teachers can now edit videos on YouTube and create open-ended video quizzes.
