GE joins consortium set up to develop biofuels

General Electric has joined a consortium of airlines, biofuel firms and other entities that was created to develop aviation biofuels derived from eucalyptus trees. The group uses a fast pyrolysis process to convert multistemmed eucalyptus trees into biofuel.
