A4A's Calio: CBP facility in Abu Dhabi a bad deal for taxpayers and travelers

Airlines for America President and CEO Nick Calio said that the Department of Homeland Security's decision to open a Customs and Border Protection preclearance facility in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is a bad deal for U.S. taxpayers and travelers. "What we have here is the US government picking winners and losers in the international aviation business," he said. "Unfortunately the winners are the international competitors of our US airlines."
