AICPA survey: Accounting firms see growth as top issue as economy recovers

Accounting firms of all sizes responding to the AICPA 2013 Private Companies Practice Section CPA Firm Top Issues survey said that growth took first place in their list of concerns. Pursuit of new clients ranked in the top five in all of the firm-size categories. Other top issues were retention of quality staff, partner accountability and workload compression. This article looks at how some firms are dealing with the top issues cited by the survey.
