Aviation safety is improving in Alaska

Despite four recent accidents, National Transportation Safety Board data going back to 2003 shows that there have been fewer accidents in Alaska this year than in past years. NTSB investigators analyze an aircraft's condition and the pilot's actions at the time of an accident and the resulting information can help other pilots to learn from mistakes.
