CFTC to give commodities position limits another try

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission is preparing to vote on a revised version of a rule intended to limit speculation in commodity markets. The revised rule would limit the trading-position size that firms are allowed to take in some commodity contracts, and it would extend such restrictions to swaps as well. A federal court rejected the CFTC's initial attempt.
