Europe's retailers experiment with click and collect

Click-and-collect models that let shoppers buy online and pick up their orders at brick-and-mortar stores are becoming increasingly attractive to European retail chains looking to boost market share, and major chains including Tesco and Carrefour are experimenting with both in-store pickup and dedicated warehouses for online orders. In France, Leclerc's 352 drive-thru pickup points drove a 68% rise in click-and-collect sales in the first half.
