Final instrument completed for James Webb Space Telescope

Work has been completed on the Near-Infrared spectrometer, known as NirSpec, one of four instruments that will go into the James Webb Space Telescope, which is set to take over for the Hubble in October 2018. NirSpec will determine age, movement, composition and distance of objects that come into its view.
